My enthusiasm and affection for quality garden design derives from years of exposure to art,
design, varied cultures and of course nature and its abundance of landscapes. Originally trained
as a Product Designer, since graduating from university in 2003, I have worked in the landscaping industry and have gained a wealth of knowledge in all areas of the landscaping process.
Objective: to tailor a design that will not only deliver the desired aesthetic and functional
requirements for each client, but will also reflect their personality and tastes. It is also
important to consider the style of architecture and surrounding landscape. The garden is merely
an extension of the home, so it is important that a relationship is bred between the two.
Garden design is not just about creating elegant and beautiful gardens. It’s about how the space is balanced in proportion,
and how it makes you feel being in it and passing through it. A garden has to work from a user’s practical perspective
and every individual case will differ. |
